Miscellaneous Art and Discontinued Projects

While I dedicate most of my time to my other projects, I enjoy a variety of artistic and handcrafting mediums. Similar to my photography, it offers me a way to be creative without any expectations or deadlines.

A variety of drawings I have created over the years. My favorite, the home seen in the bottom left, is my childhood home. I drew it for my parents for Christmas in 2022.

A design of my "perfect backpack." I often think very mathematically and geometrically when I work, and in this case that applies almost in every way. I measured the dimensions of all the items I would need to hold in my backpack and organized them into a 3D backpack layout that would hold them all perfectly. I actually purchased the materials to create the backpack and began doing so, but the project has since come to a halt with my other projects taking priority.

A charcoal self-portrait I created during the pandemic, attempting to capture some of the loneliness I was feeling at the time.

In the same workshop I created my cactus wallets (see my "Treevas Goods Co." project listing), I experimented with some woodcraft attempting to create another extension of my brand "Treevas" by selling wooden rings. Unfortunately, the project didn't succeed because I struggled to consistently create the rings without the wood cracking. However, it was a very valuable experience that taught me a lot about the properties of wood and practices of woodcraft, especially with a lathe tool.

An experimental drawing I created as a gift to my family for Christmas in 2023, depicting a birds-eye view of an environment that features four quadrants that correspond to the profession that each of my family's four members were pursuing at the time. In the top left, my father is an architect. In the top left, my mother is an urban planner who focuses on mass transit, in the bottom left is me focusing on sustainable product design, and in the bottom right is my sister focusing on park planning.
